Event Specialist

Position Summary

Beacon Hill is seeking an Event Marketing Specialist to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of trade shows, industry events, sales training programs, and promotional initiatives. This role is responsible for managing event strategy from concept through execution, overseeing logistics and vendor relationships, supporting training initiatives, and ensuring successful event outcomes.

Position Details

Pay Rate: $27.00-$34.50 per hourSchedule: Monday-Friday; flexible schedule between 7:00 AM-6:00 PMWork Arrangement: Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain trade show and event calendars across multiple business channelsPlan, coordinate, and execute trade shows, conferences, and marketing events from start to finishDevelop event timelines, budgets, objectives, deliverables, and resource plansCoordinate event logistics, venue relationships, vendor partnerships, shipments, and promotional materialsManage inventory of event materials, branded merchandise, and giveawaysSupport pre-event marketing activities and post-event follow-up effortsEvaluate event performance and communicate recommendations for continuous improvementDevelop reporting and metrics to track event effectiveness and ROICollaborate with sales leaders to coordinate training initiatives and onboarding support for sales representativesManage training schedules and support programs for new sales team membersAdminister and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS)Create, organize, and distribute training materials within the LMS platformServe as the primary contact for promotional product and gear program vendorsConduct regular vendor meetings to review inventory, orders, and open projectsPartner effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field4-6 years of experience planning and executing trade shows, events, and industry conferencesStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExperience managing multiple projects, timelines, budgets, and vendors simultaneouslyStrong event planning and logistics coordination experienceKnowledge of training administration and Learning Management Systems preferredExcellent project management and organizational skillsStrong analytical skills with experience measuring event performance and ROIOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadershipStrong attention to detail and ability to perform well under pressure
