Reporting to the Senior Technical Operations & Event Manager for East Village, the Event Specialist will be Event Management's secondary liaison for managing events in the East Village 17th Floor Conference Room, as well as assisting with events in other Event Management venues across campus. The Event Specialist will perform a variety of front of house and professional support services related to the East Village 17th Floor Conference Room, including event planning and production, elevator operations, staff management, and client support. • Review scheduled use of event space with the Senior Technical Operations & Event Manager and organize details for all events in East Village. • Experience in event management and event production for both small and large events • Customer service and good interpersonal skills are a must, as are supervisory skills and the ability to lead and manage student staff.
