Event Specialist

About the Opportunity Northsong is seeking passionate and community-minded volunteers to join our Events, Education & Outreach Committee — the public face of our organization. As a committee member, you’ll help: • Plan and host public events such as fundraisers, open houses, and release days • Design and deliver educational programs for schools and community groups • Build partnerships with parks, schools, and conservation organizations • Support social media and storytelling to highlight Northsong’s mission • Integrate fundraising into events through sponsorships and donations We’re looking for volunteers who are: • Strong communicators — creative, organized, and dependable • Interested in event planning, outreach, or communications • Passionate about wildlife, conservation, and community engagement • Collaborative and proactive, with 3–4 hours per month to dedicate As part of the Events, Education & Outreach Committee, you’ll directly shape how Northsong connects with the community — inspiring awareness, building partnerships, and advancing local wildlife conservation.
