This person will get to research, imagine, plan, coordinate, build, and execute a series of Uptown Grand Rapids events and event support programs including fundraising events and community engagement activities to achieve Uptown's overall mission. • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution. • A Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience. • Preference will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of Uptown Grand Rapids and its constituent organizations. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and to work collaboratively with diverse staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders.
