Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful event partnerships.
Create event budgets and timelines, and ensure adherence to financial and time constraints.
Collaborate with various departments and teams to determine event goals and objectives.
Develop creative and engaging event concepts and themes that align with the university's mission and values.
Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and equipment and supply rentals.
Communicate and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best possible rates and services.
Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to attract and engage attendees.
Manage event registration and ticketing processes, including tracking attendance and managing guest lists.
Ensure all events comply with safety regulations and university policies.
Provide on-site event coordination and management, including overseeing event setup, troubleshooting issues, and managing event staff.
Track and report on event metrics and success, and make recommendations for future improvements.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve event planning and execution.
Foster a positive and inclusive event experience for all attendees.
Work collaboratively with the team to brainstorm and implement new event ideas and initiatives.
