Event Staff

The Student Event Staff helps to ensure positive experiences and a sense of community throughout the University of Michigan-Flint. • Clean meeting rooms and event spaces between events and programs. • Represent the University of Michigan-Flint in a professional and courteous manner, providing a positive experience throughout the University of Michigan-Flint. • Other duties as assigned by supervisor and the CAE professional staff. Required Qualifications: • Current or incoming UM-Flint student • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) • Knowledge of University of Michigan-Flint and surrounding community • Possess good organizational skills, initiative, attention to detail, and positive attitude • Desire to assist others and provide excellent customer service as an individual and as part of a team • Demonstrate professional etiquette in all interactions • Able to make sound decisions and work independently at times • Able to lift/move 50 lbs or more repeatedly • Able to work a flexible schedule.
