Event Technician

This individual will help perform duties associated with the provision of general labor, janitorial and customer service as it pertains to Special Events within the City of Gulfport. The Event Technician will assist the Special Events Manager and the Harbor Lights Operational Coordinator in setting up for all events and maintaining any janitorial needs during events. This individual will need to have a background in carpentry work, painting, using hand tools and be able to perform duties in a warehouse environment. Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can be performed. Ability to operate Fork Lift, license preferred.
