The Office of Special Events manages an average of three large conferences/events, twenty large-scale meetings, and over one hundred small meetings monthly, including meetings for the Board of Trustees, SUNY Presidents, and our annual State of the University System Address. The event technology specialist will be responsible for planning and overseeing the successful execution of all technology and audio- visual as they pertain to events and meetings at SUNY System Administration in Albany, NY, and others around New York State. Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To • Act as a knowledge base for audio-visual and technical needs for the Office of Special Events. • Act as a technical operator for streaming needs by providing streaming services at H. Carl McCall SUNY building, as assigned, as well as at campuses and outside venues. • Excellent organizational skills: ability to manage multiple events; strong attention to detail.
