The Georgetown Stables is searching for an event venue manager to promote, manage and book our venue located in the heart of the Georgetown neighborhood. We are seeking a high energy, driven, organized person to lead the way. Job Responsibilities-Community outreachMarketing/salesEvent & catering logistics and managementWebsite and social media managementVenue site management and adminJob Requirements-Prior event and catering experience: bartending, table/banquet serviceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage a calendar, reply in timely, appropriate manner to all phone and email inquiriesKnowledge of MS Excel, Word, Google Drive, Dropbox and Toast POS systemA flexible schedule with night and weekend availability - the event & sales manager is required to be onsite to manage booked events and participate in service as neededReliable transportation required.
