Event + Wedding Producer - Pinch Food Design

Known for our flawless execution of one- of-a-kind food and beverage experiences at NYC’s most popular museums and entertainment venues, as well as within high end offices and private homes, Pinch was launched with a focus on revolutionizing catering - to reinvent the way parties look and feel, and to change the way guests think about and interact with events. In addition to managing client and vendor relationships, this position focuses on communications between departments, ensuring success within in addition to onsite. What you’ll do: • Support our top-line sales team and producers • Help maintain repeat business by cultivating solid relationships throughout and beyond the event-planning process • Develop strong relationships with venues and vendors • Ensure all internal departments are clear on client expectations for the continuity and accuracy of all services, with the goal of creating repeat business • Oversee onsite setup and execution as needed • Provide service, staffing, and Captains with pre-event details and onsite direction, as needed, to ensure seamless execution of agreed-upon event objectives, with the goal of meeting and exceeding client expectations • Create floorplans, timelines, event rental orders, and any other supporting documentation needed for each event • Attend pre-event walkthroughs and site visits • Attend in- house menu tastings • Secure all necessary event-related permits and documentation such as liquor licenses and certificates of insurance What we need from you: • 1-3 years of previous event production and/or catering production experience • Strong computer skills • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills • Incredible attention to detail and excellent organizational skills • Some weekend work – this is not a 9-5pm position! • A positive attitude and excitement about the Events and Wedding industry What we will give to you... • Annual Salary of $67,000 - $75,000 • PTO after 6 months • Medical • Phone Coverage • The above represents the expected salary range for this position.
