Job Description POSITION SUMMARY : The Events and Logistics Coordinator in the Collins College of Business reports to the Director of Communications and Events and is primarily responsible for developing, planning, marketing, and analyzing the CCB’s events, programming, and services including the events associated with the Friends of Finance and Conference of Accountants. CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES : Develops, plans, and analyzes an annual calendar of events that maximizes potential impact and benefits in order to meet the CCB’s goals and objectives in supporting students, faculty, employers, and alumni Plans and executes successful events including preparation of pre- and post- event analyses to assess opportunities, provide recommendations for future actions and improvements, and implement as appropriate Serves as the Director of Communications and Events liaison and supports the CCB’s marketing and communications efforts in promoting events, programming, and services Prepares year-end events and communications reports, providing analysis and recommendations for future actions and improvements, and implements as appropriate Develops, recommends, and manages the events budget and provides budgetary analysis and reports Maintains accurate and detailed event logistical records including timelines, task lists, supplies, inventory, registrants, attendees, and financial information Collaborates with staff, compiles information, and promotes events and services through various outlets including newsletters, website design, emails, digital media, social media, online resources, event calendars/confirmations/maps/agendas, annual reports, and other related communications and services Maintains brand consistency through graphic design assistance, facilitation of promotional item requests and orders, and any other print, web, audio, photographic, and video content Leads special projects as requested and performs other related duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and a minimum of one year of related experience; ability to work in a team environment, problem solve, collaborate, and provide superior customer service; strong written and verbal communication skills; strong computer skills.
