About the Role:
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-driven Event Assistant to support the Director of Events. From logistics coordination to on-site execution, this role plays a critical part in helping our team deliver unforgettable experiences for our attendees and sponsors from start to finish.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves working behind the scenes and finds joy in creating seamless, guest-first events.

Key Responsibilities:

· Support planning and logistics for Peake Media events.

· Assist in producing and proofreading event materials.

· Maintain and update event tracking systems, apps, timelines and checklists.

· Provide on-site support during events — including set-up, registration, attendee hospitality and troubleshooting.

· Follow up on post-event tasks including recap documentation, sponsor thank-yous, etc.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

· Has outstanding attention to detail — you notice when a name is misspelled or a timeline feels off.

· Is highly organized and capable of managing multiple assignments and timelines simultaneously.

· Communicates clearly and professionally across email, phone, Zoom and text — with a reliable 48-hour (max) response time.

· Understands and values great customer service. You treat every guest, sponsor and team member like a VIP.

· Stays calm under pressure and is ready to pivot with grace when things go off-script.

· Has a positive attitude and collaborative spirit — no task is too big or too small.

· Is comfortable working as part of a small, tight-knit team.

Bonus Points If You Have:

· Experience with event management, hospitality or client-facing roles.

· Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Dropbox, Canva, HubSpot, CVENT or MeisterTask.

· Willingness to travel for at least 3-4 multi-day events and site planning trips per year.

Salary & Benefits:
Salary: $35-40K
Benefits: Monthly wellness stipend, PTO and after 90 days of employment access to our Simple IRA Plan, as well as Life and Disability Insurance Plan
