AGMA, a vibrant trade association of more than 400 manufacturing company members, is currently seeking an Education and Events Assistant within our Business Team. This is a remote position that will occasionally need to be in our Elk Grove Village, IL office or Alexandria, VA office, therefore the candidate must be located in the Chicagoland area or DC metro area. Key Responsibilities: • Provide excellent customer service for members and industry partners • Provide regular registration and hotel reports for events • Provide support for committee work including upkeep of rosters, scheduling future meetings, and drafting meeting minutes • Draft messaging for committee meeting invitations and other program outreach • Collect speaker materials such as presentations, bio information, etc. • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to work with key audiences including members and staff. • Experience working with iMIS or similar CRM or AMS system a plus.
