Events Assistant – Entry Level

We are currently seeking motivated, outgoing, and career-driven individuals to join our team as an Entry-Level Events Assistant. Key Responsibilities

Assist with the planning, setup, coordination, and execution of live promotional events and community outreach campaigns
Represent nonprofit organizations and community initiatives at public events, retail activations, and outreach programs
Interact with event attendees to educate the public about nonprofit missions, fundraising campaigns, and community programs
Support event marketing and brand awareness efforts through positive customer engagement
Deliver professional customer service and maintain a welcoming event environment
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure successful event execution and smooth operations
Participate in ongoing paid training focused on communication, leadership, marketing, and event coordination skills
Help achieve outreach and campaign goals through strong teamwork and public interaction
Attend team meetings, leadership workshops, and professional development sessions

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
Comfortable working in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
Outgoing, professional, and people-focused personality
Interest in event marketing, public relations, communications, nonprofit outreach, or customer engagement
Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, promotions, or events is a plus but not required
