Events Associate

The purpose of the role of an Events Associate here at the ARL of Iowa is to advance the mission and programs of the Animal Rescue League of Iowa (ARL) by organizing and executing successful fundraising events, coordinating vendors, developing community partnerships, and implementing innovative event strategies • Responsible for developing event emails, public-facing event content, and other marketing content as needed. • Responsible for fundraising events including but not limited to: • Tree of Life • Buddy Bingo • Doxie Dash • Dog Easter Egg Hunt • Corgi Chase • Pucks N Paws • Spayghetti (& No Balls) Dinner • Dog Days of Summer • Yappy Hours • Cats N Mats Yoga • Sweat for Pets • Others as developed • Responsible for assisting with signature events as needed, including: • Raise Your Paw Auction • Pedal for Paws • Cat’s Meow • Iowa Dog Jog • Santa N Paws • Mane Event Valentine’s Apples • Others as developed • Perform other duties, as assigned. • Must possess excellent customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills and be able to resolve conflict effectively. • Experience in budgeting, preferred.
