Events & Business Development Coordinator

We are seeking a professional, energetic, and customer-focused individual to join our growing event venue. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships, and helping create exceptional experiences for weddings, celebrations, corporate events, and community gatherings.

This is a part-time position with opportunities to grow as our business continues to expand.

Schedule

Primarily Saturdays and Sundays based on scheduled eventsAdditional weekday hours for venue tours, client meetings, networking, and event preparationFlexible schedule with additional hours available during busy seasons

Primary Responsibilities

Welcome prospective clients and conduct professional venue toursServe as a friendly and knowledgeable representative of the venueAssist with event coordination to help ensure a smooth and successful guest experienceCommunicate with vendors, caterers, DJs, photographers, decorators, and event plannersHelp ensure the venue is organized, presentable, and ready for each eventBuild relationships with local wedding planners, photographers, DJs, churches, businesses, schools, and community organizationsParticipate in local networking and community outreach to help promote the venueAssist with special projects that support the continued growth and success of the business

Qualifications

Professional appearance and positive attitudeExcellent communication and customer service skillsOrganized, dependable, and able to work independentlyComfortable using smartphones, email, and basic computer applicationsHospitality, event venue, hotel, catering, restaurant, sales, or customer service experience is preferredStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to make clients feel welcome and confident

Compensation & Growth Opportunity

This position offers competitive hourly pay based on experience, with opportunities for additional performance-based incentives as the business grows. Team members who demonstrate initiative, professionalism, outstanding customer service, and contribute to business development may be eligible for increased responsibilities, expanded hours, and performance bonuses.
