Events & Catering Manager

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 based on experience.

The Events & Catering Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all catering and event activities involving Food & Beverage. This position works closely with residents, dining leadership, and kitchen staff to ensure every event is executed with excellence, professionalism, and care.

Essential Responsibilities

Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate all catering and event activities involving Food & BeverageConsult with residents and staff to determine event needs and preferencesCoordinate with kitchen staff to develop menus and ensure all event requirements are metCollaborate with the Dining Room Manager to ensure proper staffing for all eventsOversee event setup, service, and breakdown to ensure a high-quality experienceMaintain high standards of customer service and hospitality at all times

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; ServSafe certification preferredMinimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience in a restaurant, club, hotel, or similar hospitality setting preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to empathize and connect with residents, visitors, peers, supervisors, and team membersAbility to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to successfully pass a background check and drug screeningValid driver's license required
