You don't enjoy juggling multiple projects or being accountable for event outcomes. The Events Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the Chamber’s events as part of the event team that focuses on increasing engagement in addition to maximizing non-dues revenue through event sponsorships that provide maximum marketing exposure while also meeting the organization’s financial goals. Coordinate event sponsorships to ensure they receive stated return on investment and are billed appropriately Coordination of programs and the various stages of event progress, e.g. event timelines, committee/staff assignments and responsibilities, event details, execution of event, post event details, and financial tracking Fulfilling efficient and detailed program timelines to ensure successful program execution as directed by events leadership. Work in tandem with events department to grow attendance at all events Ensure post event and program communications/thank you to event sponsors, partners, and participants Coordinate event volunteer involvement as needed, including assistance with placing and training volunteers, and ensuring volunteer efforts are recognized. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment Experience with volunteers or participating as a volunteer a plus Goal driven, enthusiastic, self-motivated Creative mindset to problem solve and adapt Ability to work as a team player on a small team, a desire to have fun, make a difference, and enjoy your teammates
