About Latham & Watkins This role will be responsible for supporting meetings, conferences, and events for key stakeholders, while supporting multiple event projects in collaboration with other team members throughout the year from initial conception to onsite execution. This role will be located in our Chicago or Los Angeles offices. Other key responsibilities include: • Ensuring goals and objectives of department are met and that all tasks and duties completed are done within the firm’s set guidelines and policies • Assisting with all day-to-day tasks supporting the staff on the meetings and events team • Assisting with the department’s databases and collecting and inputting data with appropriate judgment and a high level of accuracy • Researching venues for dinners, social gatherings at meetings, and other events • Preparing summaries of appropriate venues, availability, costs, and capacities We’d love to hear from you if you: • Demonstrate well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm • Display the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with a customer-service focus • Possess exceptional attention to detail skills for all events to ensure superior attendee experience
