**Overview:** Pennington Biomedical Research Center, a world-renowned academic research institute of Louisiana State University, is seeking an Events Coordinator in the Division of Scientific Education. * Inspect event facilities to ensure that they conform to event or meeting requirements. Coordinate setup and breakdown of meeting and/or event space, as needed. * Coordinate the development of programs, agendas, budgets, and services according to event requirements. * Minimum 3 years of experience with event or meeting planning/coordination, fundraising, marketing, or on-site execution of events.
