This role will support event planning, scheduling, execution, and day-of-the-event support for our federal government clients. An ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multi‐task and adapt in a fast‐paced environment. KBC has an immediate need for an Events Coordinator in Morgantown, WV, or Pittsburgh, PA, with the ability to travel as needed. This person will as a contractor in support of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in planning and executing onsite and external events. Job Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree Required • 5-10 years of relative experience • Experience in supporting and managing events for the Federal Government (preferred) • Superior schedule and event-tracking capabilities • Sub‐contract development and execution experience • In‐depth knowledge of event on‐site logistics, travel coordination, and shipping execution • Experience sitting up event staffing schedules • Experience planning event details and aspects, including presentation coordination, communication products, and schedule • Maintain a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events and clients
