The Events Coordinator role at the Raleigh Convention Center is a dynamic and critical position within the Events Department. The role involves comprehensive support for event planning and execution, focusing on logistics coordination and client service. Additionally, the Events Coordinator occasionally leads and oversees other staff, ensuring work assignments are completed effectively and to high standards. equivalency • 3 to 5 years experience in audio, video, lighting, electrics, stage carpentry, rigging, events coordination or related field or equivalent combination of training and/or experience • Experience using Momentus (Ungerboeck) event booking software preferred • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally • Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to perform under pressure with patience and poise
