Great Parks is seeking a detail-oriented self-starter to serve as the Events Coordinator for its events and experiences. As a key member of the Special Events team, you will help captivate local and regional audiences by helping to craft unique, large-scale outdoor experiences through sourcing/contracting vendors, day-of-event coordination, purchasing and maintaining event supplies/decorations, and engaging a wide-array of audiences at select external community celebrations. Refers all disciplinary issues to the Director of Events. • Purchases event supplies and equipment as assigned. An example of an acceptable qualification is: • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in event planning, community engagement, customer relations, or related role is required.
