Events Coordinator

Event Management Job Function: From the Upstate to the Lowcountry, the University of South Carolina system is transforming the lives of South Carolinians through the impact of our eight institutions and 20 locations throughout the state. Our dynamic team is looking for a detail-loving, people-focused professional to bring conferences and events to life for campus and community partners.In this role, you’ll: • Be the go-to person at the University Conference Center for inquiries, rentals and client support • Manage event registrations, reports, and name badges like a pro • Coordinate logistics like venues, catering, A/V, and transportation for events big and small • Keep everything on track from planning through the final applause Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience: • Based on the needs of the department, this position requires the ability to work nights and/or weekends.
