Role and Responsibilities: • Selling events off-premises at designated locations and venues available in the South Florida area • Selling events at exclusive venues in Miami • Build and maintain long term client relationships • Manage event proposals, vendor contracts, and client contracts • Plan, produce and execute events • Maintain profit guidelines for your events • Communicate in a professional manner with other members of the Le Basque team to ensure your events and clients are well cared for • Knowledge and experience of event planning and event management in all aspects and details is required • Knowledge of sales techniques and writing proposals to meet bid specifications is a benefit • Design and production skills a benefit • Computer skills required • Highly developed communication skills and social perceptiveness is a must • Excellent written and verbal skills in English with language skills in Spanish a benefit • An innate desire to exceed guest expectations and an uncompromising approach to service • Ability to be highly detail oriented while maintaining an overview of the integrity of the event as a whole • Flexible schedule including weekends and late hours • Must have reliable transportation • Minimum 3+ years in relevant event management role Salary and Benefits:
