• *About TheLinkU**
TheLinkU is a leading NIL (Name, Image & Likeness) platform built to help college athletes, universities, and businesses unlock compliant, revenue-generating opportunities in today’s evolving collegiate sports landscape. We provide the infrastructure, relationships, and execution needed to drive sustainable NIL revenue - while maintaining transparency, compliance, and operational efficiency.
A core part of our offering is our scalable Revenue Generation (Rev Gen) execution model, which supports universities and athletes from partnership development through contract execution and payments. Our sales team plays a critical role in activating this model locally and nationally.
• *Position Overview**
We are seeking a driven, creative, and business-minded Events Coordinator to support TheLinkU’s revenue-generating initiatives at the university level.
This role owns the end-to-end event lifecycle from concept and budgeting to on-site execution and post-event reporting, and plays a critical role in driving NIL revenue for student-athletes through ticketed events, sponsorship activations, fan experiences, and donor-focused programming.
The Events Coordinator will work closely with the Arkansas Front Office team, including the Account Executive (Sales Representative), Marketing Coordinator, and other team members from TheLinkU to ensure events are strategically designed, properly marketed, and successfully executed to maximize revenue and engagement.
This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys leading complex projects, and understands how live experiences can directly drive NIL and revenue outcomes.
• *Key Responsibilities**
• Lead the planning and execution of all NIL and Rev Gen events at the University of Arkansas, including fan events, donor activations, sponsor experiences, athlete appearances, and premium experiences.
• Collaborate with the Account Executive to align event strategy with revenue goals, sponsorship commitments, and partnership opportunities.
• Develop event concepts that create meaningful NIL opportunities for athletes while enhancing the fan experience.
• Build and manage event timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, and operational plans.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all event logistics, including venue coordination, vendors, athletes, sponsors, and university stakeholders in collaboration with the Arkansas Front Office team.
• Lead on-site event execution, ensuring events are run professionally, efficiently, and in alignment with Arkansas and TheLinkU brand standards.
• Coordinate athlete participation and NIL deliverables tied to events, ensuring compliance and proper execution with the Marketing Coordinator.
• Oversee event staff, interns, and volunteers as needed.
• Work closely with the Marketing Coordinator to ensure events are effectively promoted across social media, email, and digital platforms.
• Collaborate with the Account Executive to integrate sponsor activations, branded experiences, and revenue-generating components into events.
• Support the creation of post-event content, recaps, and performance summaries that demonstrate ROI to partners and stakeholders.
• Help track event performance metrics, including attendance, revenue generated, sponsor exposure, and athlete participation.
• Provide post-event reporting and insights to help optimize future events and revenue strategies.
• Continuously identify opportunities to scale and improve Arkansas Front Office’s event-driven NIL initiatives.
• *What We’re Looking For**
• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Experience planning and executing events; sports, entertainment, or collegiate athletics experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with athletes, sponsors, university stakeholders, and partners.
• Creative mindset with a strong understanding of how events drive fan engagement and revenue.
• Comfortable working nights, weekends, and non-traditional hours based on event/sports schedules.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with sales and marketing teams.
• Passion for college athletics, NIL, and the University of Arkansas.
