About the position The Events Management Associate at Wells Fargo will assist with event strategies and project plans for two Business Groups and eight Enterprise Functions. This role involves providing recommendations on logistics, communication, and contingency planning while learning to become a trusted advisor in event management. The position is based in uptown Charlotte, NC, and requires in-office attendance three days a week. Responsibilities • Participate in projects and identify opportunities for enhancements within event management , • Coordinate and execute the logistical aspects of small one- or two-day meetings, conferences or events , • Partner with more experienced planners to coordinate requests for vendor bids and negotiate site and service contracts , • Provide recommendations to clients on format, presenters, activities, and entertainment , • Monitor program and event budgets , • Maintain ongoing vendor relationships to encourage cost-effectiveness and quality service , • Evaluate basic or tactical processes related to tasks in event management , • Collaborate and consult with team, management, and external vendors to solve issues and achieve objectives
