This position is responsible for playing their part to achieve the bigger mission of East-West and for ensuring that all position duties and responsibilities are clearly aligned with East-West Ministries Vision, Mission, Values, Statement of Faith, and Biblical principles. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Event coordination • As directed, conduct research for future events where stories of faith, scripture, and evangelism can be shared • Prepare agendas and other materials for event related meetings • Manage logistics for all local and major development events, including venues, vendors, catering, insurance, travel arrangements, booking guest speakers • Manage RSVP and check-in process • Track event financials to ensure standards of good stewardship are being followed • Manage event timelines • Manage communication with event sponsors and host committees • Manage volunteers for events as needed • Work in collaboration with the VP of Marketing • Administrative duties to include expense reports for gift officers, donor correspondence, and other gift officer support as assigned • Special Projects Management – miscellaneous project management as directly assigned • Organize volunteer(s) to assist with various Development/Marketing projects • Assist with field-related events as requested • Maintain communication with volunteers to make aware of existing needs Skills and Abilities • Flexibility, focus, and a strong work ethic are essential • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including proficiency in evaluating and prioritizing issues • Ability to follow through and juggle multiple tasks and projects • Ability to take initiative and be proactive within scope of job duties • Solid judgment and decision-making skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in grammar and spelling • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to handle sensitive situations with confidentiality, poise, and tact • Discerning of confidentiality and privacy • Ability to work well with others in a team environment • Ability to work well under pressure and against deadlines • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Office and Outlook and other standard office software • Strong attention to detail • Driven to constantly improve job functions – not satisfied with status quo • Ability to think critically and resourcefully • Ability to manage teams of volunteers in various projects • Ability to compile and prepare various budgets and reports
