Full-time Events Manager Job Opening The right person for this role has experience with both inbound and outbound event planning and management, a passion for creating memorable moments underpinned by top-level hospitality, and a natural hustle to make magic happen. Role & Responsibilities • Event Planning | Take the lead in conceptualizing, planning, and coordinating various events, including tournaments, social mixers, themed nights, and special promotions • Logistics Management | Oversee all logistical aspects of events from sales through execution, including communications with potential clients, pricing, venue details, scheduling, vendor coordination, equipment rentals, and budget management to ensure seamless execution • Outreach & Community Engagement | Proactively engage with local pickleball communities, clubs, and organizations to foster partnerships and collaborations, including organizing outreach events, clinics, and demonstrations to attract new players and expand our network within the pickleball community • Customer Engagement | Interact with members and guests to understand their preferences and interests, soliciting feedback to continually improve the quality and variety of events offered • Staff Supervision | Recruit, train, and supervise event staff as needed, ensuring they are well-prepared and capable of delivering exceptional service • Compliance & Safety | Ensure that all events comply with relevant regulations and safety standards, maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for participants and attendees • Limited Outbound Marketing | Conduct proactive outreach to corporate events leaders and product marketers to position PKLYN as a venue of choice for team-building events and product launches • Post-Event Evaluation | Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event, gathering feedback from attendees and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed Qualifications • Knowledge of and passion for pickleball is a huge plus • Proven experience in event planning and management, preferably in the hospitality or entertainment industry • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and team members • Creative mindset with a passion for creating unique and memorable experiences • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate event schedules Compensation & Benefits
