In addition to the professional teams, Lexington SC is comprised of a youth club with 1,000 players, a pre-professional women’s team in the USL W League, two indoor soccer facilities, a $20 million youth soccer complex, and a brand-new state-of-the-art soccer-specific stadium that opened in September of 2024. Lexington SC is looking for an events manager with strong leadership skills in cross-functional collaboration, excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset to align special events with Lexington SC’s broader business goals. • Work as an integral part of the marketing and events team to host best in class soccer events at the Lexington SC stadium. • Support department leaders in the execution of community events such as season ticket holder parties, festivals, and charitable efforts. • Minimum of (3-5) years of experience in event management • Excellent interpersonal skills; tenacious work ethic and strong written/verbal communication skills • A desire to aggressively pursue new business and opportunities • Superior communication, organization, and time management skills • The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights and holidays • Exceptional customer service skills • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in business, facility management, event management, hospitality management, marketing or related field • This role is located in Lexington, KY and is not eligible for remote work
