Events Manager

The Events Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of group bookings, private dining experiences, restaurant and venue buyouts, and outside catering. General Responsibilities • Support the smooth operation of the business, ensuring guests receive outstanding service and hospitality in line with Amazónico’s standards • Be punctual and adhere to all company procedures regarding absence or lateness • Maintain exceptional grooming, hygiene, and personal presentation at all times • Attend meetings and training sessions as required by management • Demonstrate flexibility and a team-first attitude to support business needs across departments • Develop a strong knowledge of the full food, dessert, and beverage offering • Respond promptly and professionally to guest needs and requests, escalating to management as necessary • Ensure proper care is taken with company property and assets • Comply with all health, safety, fire, and emergency policies (Health and Safety at Work Act 1977) Departmental Responsibilities • Proactively seek and qualify new event opportunities that align with the Amazónico brand • Organize and oversee all types of events including private dining, full venue or section hire-outs, large groups, and off-site catering • Build strong relationships with corporate clients, individuals, concierges, and event professionals to drive bookings • Ensure all administrative tasks, from documentation to reporting, are completed within deadlines • Collaborate with the Reservations Office to ensure accurate communication and coordination • Handle inbound phone calls and email inquiries, providing professional, well-informed assistance Who You Are • A hospitality professional with proven experience in event planning, sales, and coordination (ideally in high-end restaurants or luxury venues) • A proactive, organized, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment • A confident communicator who builds relationships easily and represents the brand with poise and personality • Comfortable managing multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously • Passionate about hospitality, culinary experiences, and guest satisfaction
