Austin Sunshine Camps (ASC) is a non-profit organization with a mission to provide the magic of overnight camp without the barrier of cost. We host year-round programming at our Zilker Lodge in Zilker Park and our rustic Lake Travis camp. This person will lead the planning and execution of ASC-hosted development events and collaborate on high-impact fundraising initiatives in partnership with external stakeholders. Development Events & Fundraising Support • Plan, manage, and execute mission-focused development events including: • Stakeholder Breakfast • Keeper Luncheon • Donor appreciation and cultivation events • Coordinate event logistics, vendors, run-of-show, guest communications, and follow-up • Serve as ASC's point of contact on planning committees for major external fundraising events: • Austin Sunshine Run • Austin Under 40 Awards • Collaborate with ASC’s Development team to ensure event strategy aligns with fundraising goals and donor stewardship priorities • Maintain accurate event records in Salesforce, including guest-tracking, follow-up actions, and engagement notes • Help create meaningful event experiences for supporters, donors, and community partners that deepen engagement with ASC Zilker Lodge Rental Program • Collaborate with the Event Sales Manager to transition confirmed rental bookings into successful event execution • Manage logistics for ZLRP events, including: • Staffing (Event Assistants and custodial coordination) • Parking coordination and vendor scheduling • Day-of event management and customer service • Event setup, load-in/load-out coordination, and client follow-up • Working with Facilities Manager to ensure Zilker Lodge is prepared for events and programming, including ordering supplies and materials • Maintain high standards of client service and ensure events reflect the mission and values of ASC
