Events Manager

Craft Events. This position blends hospitality, creativity, sales, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Event Sales & Client Relations Drive event revenue by prospecting new business and nurturing client relationships Serve as the primary contact for event inquiries-pitch, propose, and close deals Tailor proposals and event packages to meet client goals and budgets Build repeat and referral business by delivering standout guest experiencesEvent Planning & Execution Own the end-to-end planning of all private and public events Lead internal communication through Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and planning tools Manage event logistics including vendors, permits, catering, A/V, and more Ensure smooth operations from setup to breakdown-hands-on and detail-drivenProgramming & Activations Develop and schedule public-facing events like trivia, live music, and seasonal celebrations Collaborate with marketing to drive awareness and participation Vet acts and activations to create engaging, on-brand guest experiencesFestival Management Lead planning and execution of major festivals and large-scale experiences Handle budgets, vendor partnerships, permitting, staffing, and day-of logistics Ensure safety compliance and a positive relationship with city and neighborhood stakeholdersRestaurant Collaboration Work closely with FOH/BOH leadership to align food, beverage, and staffing with event plans Promote in-restaurant activations that enhance guest experience and drive revenue Support seamless restaurant operations during and around eventsMarketing & Promotion Partner with the marketing team to develop and deploy compelling event campaigns Leverage social media, email, and community outreach to boost attendance Provide content ideas and insights that reflect current trends and location-specific opportunitiesPost-Event Performance Collect feedback from clients and guests to refine future offerings Analyze key metrics like guest satisfaction, sales, and budget performance Apply insights to continuously improve the event programRequirements 2+ years experience in event planning, hospitality, or restaurant managementStrong communication, organizational, and multitasking skillsSales-savvy with the ability to close deals and build lasting client relationshipsPassion for community engagement and brand-driven experiencesAbility to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and festivalsNice-to-haves Bonus points for brewery or large-scale event experience
