Reporting to the Senior Manager, Events & Industry Relations, this seasoned Events professional will be working within established department structures and... also have oversight over many complex logistics related to the Hauser Lounge hospitality and use during the festival. • Coordinating menu selection and sponsored product • Overseeing volunteers in the Hauser Lounge and other Events spaces • Preparing after-action reports for each event • Orchestrating special activations in the Hauser Lounge • Ensuring the festival database and Event Schedule are updated with relevant event information • Supporting larger “Gala” events, as needed Requirements: • 4-5 years event and hospitality experience • Professional, friendly, and welcoming, demeanor, attire, and presentation Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency with databases and event management software (Zikpster, Wordfly, Eventival) • Comfortable with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, Forms) and Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word) • Ability to take direction well; must work independently and as part of a larger team • Ability to work long hours, late nights, evenings, and weekends as scheduled during the festival • Food and Beverage knowledge experience is a must • Attention to detail and time management • Positive attitude and ability to work in stressful situations on multiple projects at once • Film Festival experience a plus, but not required • NYFF conducts all of its events in person.
