The Events Manager is responsible for building business for the restaurant through direct and indirect sales techniques including all planning & execution components of private and large party dining and community marketing initiatives. Position & Experience Requirements: • Excellent written and verbal communications skills • Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products • Knowledge of R365, Avero, MS Office, Excel, and Slack. • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and convert leads into sales • Ability to communicate strategies used to build sales while demonstrating results of said strategies. • Lead development of event pricing structure for large parties and events, as well as manage and update all sales and events menus on a regular basis. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
