Reporting to the Associate Director of Events, the Events Manager will be part of a centralized shared services team to support both internal and external events for Year Up that advance the visibility of Year Up and our mission. is appropriately tracked and managed • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Adobe Creative Suite and Cvent experience is a plus • Development/fundraising and corporate engagement experience is a plus • Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging • A professional and resourceful style with the ability to work independently and as a team player, to take initiative and manage multiple tasks and projects at one time • Flexibility with work schedule as this position may require evening and weekend work • Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and foster relationships internally and externally • Willingness to travel as necessary (heaviest during Spring and Fall seasons) • A passion for working with young adults, an unshakable belief in their potential and a strong commitment to the mission of Year Up • Understanding of the Opportunity Divide and its drivers Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
