The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a creative mindset, and a track record of success in event management. • *Responsibilities:** - Plan, coordinate, and execute a diverse range of events, including but not limited to weddings, corporate functions, galas, and private parties - Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision and objectives for each event, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their experience - Develop comprehensive event proposals, including detailed budgets, timelines, and creative concepts - Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure all logistical elements of the event are executed flawlessly - Oversee onsite event operations, including setup, staffing, and coordination of all event elements - Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the planning process, providing exceptional service and maintaining strong relationships - Monitor event performance and gather feedback to continuously improve our offerings and exceed client expectations - Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in event management • *Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field (preferred) - Proven experience in event planning and management, with a focus on high-end events and luxury clientele - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach - Creative problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset - Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite - Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required - Knowledge of New York City venues, vendors, and regulations is advantageous • *Benefits:** - Competitive salary of $75,000 per year - 3% commission on event sales - Very competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and generous paid time off - Opportunity to work with a highly successful and respected hospitality group - Professional development and growth opportunities within the organization If you are a dynamic and passionate individual with a proven track record of success in event management, we want to hear from you!
