StarBase is seeking an organized, creative, and proactive Events & Marketing Coordinator to support our Venue Director and Event Planners in the planning, coordination, and execution of events and marketing initiatives. This is a supporting role, focused on assisting with event logistics, vendor communications, client relations, and marketing content. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment, is highly detail-oriented, organized, and has a strong sense of hospitality and creativity. Skills & Traits • Keen attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities • Strong communicator—verbal, written, and interpersonal with a diverse group of clients, supplier partners, coworkers and employees • Natural problem solver with a positive, proactive attitude • Composed under pressure and solutions-oriented • Comfortable with e-mail, phone and in-person communication • Hospitality-minded and customer-service driven • Ability to take direction and work collaboratively with leadership and strong follow-through • Familiarity with Las Vegas event industry is a plus • Support in forwarding any necessary event information to vendors and venue management to ensure seamless coordination with venue operations and marketing efforts • Handle conflict and challenges effectively while staying focused on desired outcome • Highly self-motivated, solution-oriented, collaborative, proactive and decisive. Areas include but are not limited to: project management support, venue and vendor coordination, production, creative ideas and concept development with clients Be available for clients at all times acting as a “24/7” contact support during programs • Provide support with the logistical management and operational execution of client events and programs alongside the Venue’s teams • Must have valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, health, alcohol awareness and safety training cards
