The Director evaluates and reports results, makes recommendations to improve organizational success, leadership and direction. Creates/maintains a marketing calendar that efficiently promotes the Boys & Girls Club on a year- round basis As part of the leadership team, helps cultivate key community, investor and media relationships Develops collaborative partnerships with Club staff, volunteers, youth members, supporters, other Clubs, media contacts, consultants, vendors and other not-for-profit organizations to establish professional links within the community Maintains relationships with graphic designers, printers and other professional service providers Develops collateral materials Provides leadership to special/fundraising events Serves as a spokesperson for the organization Provides expertise to various internal communication projects and professional development experiences Knowledge, skills and abilities: Ability to develop effective working relationships and partnerships with investors, community groups, board members, volunteers, staff and other organizations Education in the areas of marketing, public relations, investor development, nonprofit management or related field preferred Demonstrated experience in public relations, marketing, investor development Detail-oriented approach to responsibilities Self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines Successful experience in advancing the mission and brand of an organization Exceptional verbal, written communication and organizational skills Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record Disclaimer: The information presented indicates the general nature and level of work expected of employees in this classification.
