Events Planner and Marketing Specialist

Company Services: An Ameriprise Private Wealth Advisory Practice with multiple office locations in the State of Ohio assisting clients in meeting their financial goals with an emphasis on creating and delivering a unique client experience that defines and differentiates the practice. Position Summary: Provides support to the Creative department and assists team members in the coordination of marketing and events, implementing a cohesive client experience between all office locations and performing the following duties. · Proven success in event planning or coordination Position Responsibilities: • Coordinate with internal staff, clients, advisors, and vendors to establish the requirements for an event, and serve as liaison to key stakeholders and the team throughout the planning process • Research vendors and make selections based on their cost, quality, and the objectives of the event • Locate resources, visit sites, and lead pre-event meetings to help staff make decisions about event design • In collaboration with the Creative Director, develop content for event materials in Canva and/or work with graphic designer to produce • Plan and facilitate logistics for all events, including contract negotiations, guest lists, venue preparation, presentation materials, speakers, catering, entertainment, transportation, equipment, decor, and marketing materials • In collaboration with the Digital Marketing Specialist, develop social media and online promotion campaigns for events, where needed • Oversee client experiences from conception through post-event review; manage on-site preparations, production, and event breakdown; and ensure consistent, high-level service throughout all phases • Manage practice-wide promotional giveaways, establish, and maintain relationships with multiple vendors • Assist in the execution and support of advisor or practice-wide strategic partner, holiday, and client gifting programs. · Submit all marketing compliance materials, including but not limited to monthly compliance submissions, post-event paperwork, client gifts and entertainment
