The Event Planner is responsible for working with the Events and Promotions Manager in the planning and coordinating of the New Jersey Lottery’s branded experience at all events, promotions and sponsorships statewide. As a member of the promotions team, the Event Planner provides a range of administrative and marketing support duties related to the daily operations of the Promotions Department with a concentration in events and constantly strives to create branded experiences that drive consumer behavior. • Executes promotions and events throughout the state as approved by the annual promotional plan • Liaises with the sales team to plan and coordinate individual promotions as approved by the management team • Supports Promotions Manager in creating briefs for valued-added promotional calendar • Accountable for success of promotional execution in terms of delivery against performance metrics, ROI goals • Coordinates the day to day timeline management for all aspects of planning and executing sponsorships, consumer, retailer and other New Jersey Lottery events • Coordinates procurement of promotional merchandise for organization • Liaises with local media stations to leverage and execute value-added opportunities • Interacts with the public at events to promote NJL’s mission and business objectives
