Are you an enthusiastic and resourceful event planner with a talent for sales and operations? Responsibilities • Develop and execute a strategy to book, manage, and grow event business for the venue, including corporate functions, private parties, celebrations, and special events. • Coordinate with clients from inquiry through event execution, ensuring excellent customer service and flawless operations. • Lead planning meetings, create event proposals, and customize packages based on client needs. • Oversee event setup, breakdown, logistics, and vendor coordination for each booking. • Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness. • Promote the venue through local networking, partnerships, and targeted marketing campaigns. Requirements • Proven experience in event planning or management (minimum 2 years preferred). • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. • Demonstrated ability to book events and deliver outstanding guest experiences. • Strong multitasking and negotiation abilities under pressure. • Must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed. • Familiarity with Milwaukee's event community is a plus. Compensation • This role is 100% commission-based, with earning potential directly tied to event bookings and successful execution. • Commission structure negotiable and competitive based on experience and results.
