The Event Services Manager is responsible for overseeing. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality client services that support the success of each special event, while striving to maximize the program's impact and revenue potential. They are committed to providing a premier experience for all who inquire about rentals at BlackRock Center-whether in person, by telephone, or through digital correspondence -- as well as executing superior rental events experiences for clients. Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning, event management, sales, or a related field Exceptional attention to detail coupled with flexibility and initiative Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to be onsite to support clients and manage the events Outstanding customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities Proven experience in negotiating and managing contracts and vendor relationships Strong organizational and time management skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Proven project management abilities with competence in handling multiple tasks simultaneously Creative thinker with the ability to leverage data in decision-making Knowledge of multi-disciplinary arts programming and commitment to BlackRock's mission Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and Canva Positive, culturally sensitive attitude with a sense of humor Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team We are challenging the status quo with the power of diversity, inclusion, and collaboration.
