Events Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for the successful execution of on-property events, providing sales support to property General Managers, and completing administrative duties. The Events Specialist will report to the property General Managers and may be assigned additional administrative tasks as needed. Responsibilities: - Verify and oversee event planning and execution on the property - Provide on-property sales support to property General Managers - Serve as the main point of contact for guests planning and attending events, ensuring a seamless experience - Collaborate with the Group Sales Office and Area Sales teams - Collect, develop, and update content for property websites - Assist with administrative duties as assigned by property General Managers - Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards - Maintain a professional and clean appearance - Protect and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information - Welcome and assist guests according to company standards - Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy - Establish and maintain positive working relationships with team members Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively - Customer service experience preferred - Familiarity with event planning or hospitality industry is a plus Education Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent
