This role will work directly with the Events Manager and attorneys to showcase the firm’s expertise through a variety of networking, partnering, and client appreciation events. This position is available as a hybrid work schedule and open to our Boston ad New York offices. Responsibilities: • Execute conferences, focused seminars, firm-wide functions, and strategic partnerships • Manage events hosted at firm facilities and work with the events team to target and develop new programs focused on key audiences • Help manage and maintain client database, including event registration and guest lists • Facilitate strong relationships with event vendors and negotiate contracts to meet budget goals • Able to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and industry professionals alike • Ensure hosted events reflect the firm’s brand and values • Work on special projects as needed, including business development and communications initiatives • Moderate travel will be necessary to manage and attend events as needed Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in marketing events • Experience in professional services, technology industry, or related service industries a plus • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines • Ability to work effectively with partners, attorneys, and staff at all professional levels to implement marketing goals and objectives • Ability to effectively interact with clients, outside service providers, and business and community leaders • High degree of discretion and independent judgment • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, internet research, Salesforce, and database skills • Ability to execute both virtual and in-person programs The primary location for this job posting is in New York, but other locations may be listed.
