Why you should apply for this position today: - Join the #1 leader in hospitality and be part of a globally recognized brand - Opportunity for career growth and development - Work with a team that feels like family and promotes a positive work culture - Make a difference by creating memorable experiences for guests - Competitive compensation and benefits package Responsibilities: - Meet and coordinate with group coordinators or hosts before events to understand their requirements and preferences - Review banquet event orders to gather necessary guest information and determine setup, timeline, specific needs, and catering arrangements - Respond to and accommodate any special requests or arrangements made for events - Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to safety and security - Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to managers - Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhere to uniform standards, and protect company assets - Provide exceptional guest service by anticipating and addressing their needs - Communicate effectively with team members and other staff using clear and professional language - Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals - Ensure adherence to quality standards and expectations - Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance - Inspect tools, equipment, and machines for defects - Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces and move on sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces - Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in event planning or coordination is preferred - Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to work well in a team and individually - Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Education Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent
