The Events Specialist is responsible for working with events manager to conceptualize event themes, prepare and manage event project plans and timelines for Motion's medium to large size events. Responsibilities include venue selection, agenda, event logistics, catering, staffing and securing entertainment. • Plans the scope of the events (e.g., time, location, program, attendees, cost) for the organization. • Solicits bids from lodging, transportation, and event support services when they are not provided by the event host or sponsors (e.g., photographers) as needed.
