Executive Director, Events Management

• Creates and executes communication strategies for disseminating information to all levels of management and staff, as well as outside vendors and partners. • Develops and oversees staffing plans for parking and crowd management, including Derby Week and live racing. • Spearheads Derby Week parking and transport planning, including shuttles, traffic, access, mobility support, and rideshare logistics. • Provides oversight and strategic direction for the crowd management contract, ensuring alignment with organizational standards for training, staffing, guest service, and safety. Required Skills and Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in sports and entertainment operations, venue operations, or project management with an emphasis on events is preferred.
