The Senior Project Manager work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.ResponsibilitiesBe a part of the Humana Business Services team as an Executive Event Planner. As an Executive Event Planner you will be the representative to the Executives in providing an elegant and sophisticated experience at each event, ensuring the utmost attention to each detail from brainstorming/creative phase through completion of the project, meeting and/or event.In this role you will:Plan 15-20 highly complex events across the U.S. within a calendar yearPartner with a multitude of internal and external business partners, including various vendorsClosely align with Humana leaders on the content and objectives of eventsManage relationships with outsourced entities to design, plan, negotiate and execute the logistical elements of executive meetings and eventsCollect and analyze data for distribution to business partner(s) to validate meeting spend and behaviorsProvide proactive consultation on related budgetary and logistic issues to senior business leaders, planning teams and internal finance partners.Provide post-event reporting and analysis and insights to business partners and other leaders.Utilize project management skills to plan and execute business meetings and eventsCoordinate, facilitate and manage all travel, meeting, and special event activities for aligned business partners within the enterprise.Influence best practice and company guidelines to ensure meetings are aligned with Humana's vision.Travel up to 50% of your time for site visits and event execution, post Covid.Work extended or atypical hours as neededRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experienceA minimum of 5 years' meeting and event planning experience for large scale, complex corporate, government and/or entertainment industry eventsA minimum of 2-3 years direct executive management experience (with C-suite or equivalent professionals)Flexibility in hours and work schedule, including occasional weekends and holidays, and ability to travel extensivelyExcellent oral and written communication skillsComfort with ambiguity and flexibility with changesAbility to learn and represent the priorities of business partnersAttention to detail and accuracyProven experience managing a multitude of competing priorities simultaneouslyDemonstrated ability to work proactively vs. reactively with C-suite individualsAbility to influence at all levels of an organizationAbility to work independently and discernment to know when to escalate questions and issuesQuick adaptation to technology and online toolsMS Office and web/internet technology skillsAssociates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work.
