RSVP Events | Greater Grand Rapids Area While much of the planning process can be completed remotely, candidates must reside in the Greater Grand Rapids area due to required on-site event management, venue walkthroughs, rehearsals, and occasional in-person meetings with clients and vendors. As a Wedding Planner with RSVP Events, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process. This is an independent contractor position with the opportunity for ongoing collaboration and growth within the company. Lead planning meetings via video call, phone, and in-person consultations Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, venues, and vendors Manage client communication in a timely, professional, and organized manner Research, recommend, and coordinate vendors based on client needs and budgets Review vendor contracts and monitor planning deadlines Create and manage detailed wedding timelines, logistics plans, and production schedules Assist with event layout development and floor plan coordination Provide design guidance and support for overall event aesthetic and guest experience Coordinate wedding rehearsals and oversee full wedding day execution Manage vendor arrivals, setup, timeline flow, and troubleshooting on-site Attend venue walkthroughs, tastings, and vendor meetings as needed Ensure events are executed smoothly while maintaining a high level of professionalism under pressure
